Road or Lane Status
Iberia Parish - La. 675 (from W. St. Peter Street to W. Main Street) - Road Closure

IBERIA PARISH, La. - Beginning Monday, March 31, at 7 a.m. until Friday, May 2, at 5 p.m., La. 675 (S Hopkins Street) from La. 182 (W St. Peter Street) to La. 182 (W Main Street.) will be closed to traffic, weather permitting.
The road closure is necessary for the installation of drainage structures underneath the pavement.
Detour routes will be posted and consists of La. 182 (W St. Peter Street), La. 3156 (Jefferson Street), and La. 182 (W Main Street).
Emergency vehicles will not have access to the entire area.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.

NEW IBERIA POLICE DEPARTMENT
The New Iberia Police Department officially began patrolling the streets of New Iberia on Sunday July 1st, 2018 at 6:00 AM.
The newly formed police department was reinstated after city residents approved a measure to create a funding source in 2017. For nearly a decade prior, law enforcement was provided for city residents through a contract with the Iberia Parish Sheriff's Department.
The department was officially sworn in on June 19th on the front steps of the New Iberia City Hall.
